GUANAJUATO & SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE

1.- Guanajuato

Reception at the Guanajuato Bus Terminal and transfer to the hotel of your choice. Free afternoon. In the evening you will enjoy the traditional “Callejoneada”, a walking tour through old alleys, small squares, and alleys – such as the famous “Callejón del Beso” – accompanied by the music of Guanajuato’s best estudiantinas. Overnight stay.

2.- Cerro del Cubilete- Guanajuato

In the morning you will enjoy a tour of the main streets of the city of Guanajuato, declared a World Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO and home of the Cervantino International Festival. You will visit: the Museum of Mummies, the Village of La Valenciana (where the mine of the same name and the Temple of San Cayetano are located), the Ex-Hacienda of El Cochero (Museum of the Inquisition), the El Nopal Mine, the Old Residential Zone of Guanajuato, its Panoramic Roads and Underground Streets, the Monument to the Pípila and the beautiful Historic Center. Return to the hotel. Time for lunch. In the afternoon, transfer to the geographic center of the Mexican Republic, and arrival at the Cerro del Cubilete, also known as the mountain of Cristo Rey because of the monumental sculpture 20 meters high that stands on its summit. Time to take pictures and do some shopping. Return to Guanajuato. Overnight in Guanajuato.

3.- Dolores Hidalgo- San Miguel de Allende

Tour through some of the most beautiful colonial towns of the country of the so-called “Route of Independence”, visiting: Dolores Hidalgo, where we will see the House of the Priest Don Miguel Hidalgo, the Parish Church (where he gave the cry that marked the beginning of the Mexican Independence movement), the Historic Center and the Tomb of Jose Alfredo Jimenez; Atotonilco, visiting the Santuario de Jesus Nazareno, beautiful for its altarpieces and paintings; San Miguel de Allende, where we will see the Parish of San Miguel Archangel (neo-Gothic style and symbol of the city), the House of General Ignacio Allende, the Historic Center.
