GUANAJUATO VG
State located in the central area of the country in a semi-arid region with a mining tradition. Its capital, Guanajuato, is one of the most colorful cities in Mexico and has, among its many attractions, an underground tunnel system that makes it unique.
1.- San Miguel de Allende
Transfer to San Miguel de Allende. City tour to explore indigenous heritage and current cosmopolitan life. Afterwards, horseback riding in which some of the traditional historical canteens are visited. Accommodation at San Miguel Allende.
2.- Dolores Hidalgo/ Atotonilco/ Guanajuato
Transfer to Dolores Hidalgo, the city of the beginnings of Mexico’s independence, visiting the parish of Nuestra Señora de los Dolores, the Casa de Hidalgo Museum, the Museum of Independence and tasting the famous handmade ice creams of this city. Later, visit the Sanctuary of Atotonilco, from where Miguel Hidalgo took the banner of the Virgin of Guadalupe.
