ADVENTURES IN VERACRUZ
Veracruz was the first settlement founded by the Spanish in Mexico and is now a beautiful port city with many colonial sights. It is an excellent starting point to visit several uncrowded beaches. Veracruz is a quiet and lively city, full of colonial history. There are countless natural beauties to be found throughout its 212 municipalities such as: mountains, beaches, rivers, dunes, lagoons, waterfalls, mangroves, jungles, etc. Ecotourism and adventure sports are part of its magic.
Day 1: In/ Veracruz
Arrival at the international airport of Veracruz. Reception and transfer to your hotel. Check in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Lunch and dinner at leisure. Lodging.
Day 2: Aquarium+ San Juan de Ulua+ Mandinga+ City Tour
Breakfast at the hotel. On this tour you will see 10 exhibition halls where you can see thousands of specimens that will captivate your senses and make your visit an incredible experience. Enjoy the view from the San Pedro Tower, from where you will have the best pictures of the port. Learn about the legend of Chucho “El Roto”, the thief who stole to help the poor. Visit the cells where Chucho “El Roto” and the “Mulata de Córdoba”, two of the most famous legends of this place, were imprisoned. At 3 o’clock in the afternoon we will be accompanying you to take your unit that will take you to the town, this will be waiting for you outside Plaza Acuario; You will observe the behavior of some birds in the different vegetation, the environment will surround you with plants, the mangroves make the ride becomes a moment of reflection, the boat advances slowly as it enters this ecosystem. You can also visit the famous “Isla de las conchitas”, a place where you can get off and take some incredible pictures. Finally, you will visit the historical center of Veracruz, on board of course a picturesque tourist streetcar; a 40 minutes panoramic tour where you will see the architecture, history and culture of the Port of Veracruz. Day 3: Rapidos ofJalcomulco
Breakfast at the hotel. If you like extreme activities, our Tour to “Los Rápidos de Jalcomulco” is the best option for you, it includes rafting along the Pescados River, are you tired of the big city routine? This is a great time to change your energy and there is nothing better than coming to Jalcomulco, Veracruz. Due to its steep topography this is the perfect place to start a rafting tour descending at full speed. Lunch and dinner on your own. Lodging.
Day 4: Veracruz/ Out
Breakfast at the hotel. At a convenient time transfer from your hotel to the airport to take the flight to your destination. End of services.
