Hiking is an ecotouristic activity, which consists on walking through paths, in a natural environment, while enjoying the landscape surrounding you.
La Roqueta, is an island in front of Caleta and Caletilla Beach in Acapulco. A very rich environment in flora and fauna, also with a huge historical and archeological background.

During the route, you will find crystal clear water with turquoise colors through three main beaches: Roqueta Beach, Palmitas Beach and Enamorados (Lovers) Beach. Also, you will be able to discover some other small beaches all around the island.
The historical and archeological route going through the “Pablo Galeana Museum”, lying on a side of the emblematic lighthouse on the highest part of the island.
This museum, besides having a panoramic view of Caleta and Caletilla Beach, contains archaeological pieces found on the zone, and also tell the importance of the island in the colonial period and independence of Mexico, how it was strategically taken by the “Galeanas”, to conquer the Port afterwards.
