Córdoba

Cordoba is the city of the 30 knights and cradle of the treaties that on August 24, 1821, gave us freedom and independence from the Spanish crown. This scenario of the story can be seen in the Portals of the Center of the city.

A few steps away you can visit what summarizes all the efforts to rescue knowledge around the aromatic, in the Coffee Museum. Cordoba is another of the capitals of Veracruz in the sowing of the coffee cherry.

Visit the Ex-Hacienda San Francisco Toxpan, one of the first sugar mills in the country, and without a doubt, it had great historical importance in the entity, since it was an icon of the region’s economy between the 18th and 19th centuries; you can take a guided tour of the former mill and the Old Sugar Factory and the Cane Museum.

If the interest is to eat in Cordoba, there are emblematic places for the city and that have served their diners for almost 100 years. Six blocks from the Cathedral is the famous Diaz Restaurant, where the family of the same last name has been serving traditional dishes for 98 years, mainly seafood from the region.
