Estado de México

The State of Mexico is located in the central-southern part of the country. Its capital is Toluca de Lerdo. Its border to the North is Querétaro, Hidalgo to the Northwest, Tlaxcala to the east, Puebla to the southeast, Morelos and Mexico City to the southwest, Guerrero to the southwest, and Michoacán to the west. With 22,357 km², which represents 1.14% of the national territory.

This state stands out for its incredible natural landscapes that converge between mountains, forests, volcanoes, rivers, and lakes, where you can carry out an endless number of ecotourism activities. It also has essential archaeological zones, nine magic towns (El Oro, Malinalco, Metepec, Tepotzotlán, Valle de Bravo, Ixtapan de la Sal, Teotihuacán, Acapulco, and Villa del Carbón) and various handicrafts such as the trees of life, wool textiles, rebozos, pottery.
