Chiapas- Fam Trip
Culture, gastronomy, nature, adventure, handicrafts, and much more has Chiapas to offer.
On our journey through the destination, we visited Chiapa de Corzo where we had breakfast at the Hotel La Ceiba and they welcomed us with a sample of Lacquer and Wood Carving.
In Copoya we got to know the Mural City through a tour and its Glorious Christ of Chiapas, to later have a gastronomic experience of Traditional Zoque Cuisine.
In the afternoon we visited the Holiday Inn Tuxtla Gutierrez Hotel where there was a coexistence with presidents of different associations and suppliers, and finally, we concluded our dinner at Las Pichanchas Restaurant.
Day two was full of adventure and nature, here we visited Tzimol, an experience that you must live where the tour begins aboard a 4×4 heading to Tres Tzimoleras, a natural wonder of waterfalls, with a walk along a 400 m path and activities rappelling and waterfall jumping.
We ate at the Ta’Bonitio Restaurant and visited a rebozo-making workshop.
Finally, a cocktail and dinner were held at the Terraza 1528 Restaurant, where a talk was also held with businessmen from Comitán.
In Amatenango del Valle we had a clay craft experience with the artisan Juana Gómez, who makes pieces of great value. Here we also visited the “Mi Café” cafeteria and the Marques de Comillas Hotel.
San Cristóbal de las Casas received us at the Hotel Bö, a Boutique Hotel that we recommend you visit, here a meeting was held with the X-Chilul Pak collective, to whom a donation of a laptop and threads was made so that they can continue with its production of fabrics and handicrafts.
A workshop was held at the Sombra de Agua Hotel with suppliers from San Cristóbal de las Casas and the Diego Mazariegos Hotel hosted the collaboration signing between SECTUR Chiapas and CONEXSTUR.
We say goodbye to Chiapas with an experience of its traditional Posh drink and food at the Hotel Diego Mazariegos restaurant.
