Coahuila is one of the 31 states of the Mexican Republic. It is located in the northeast region of the country, bordering on the North by the Rio Bravo, which separates it from the United States, on the east by Nuevo Leon, on the south Zacatecas and San Luis Potosi, and the west by Durango and Chihuahua. With 151,563 km 2, it is the third-largest state. Its capital is Saltillo, and it has a total population of 2,748,391 inhabitants, made up of 38 municipalities, and divided into five regions.
