Salvatierra

Salvatierra was named a Magical Town back in 2012. The city has more than 300 buildings cataloged as historical of a great diversity: from old colonial houses, samples of exuberant baroque; impressive neoclassical constructions, and those of the early twentieth century, art deco, which remains in perfect conditions. Like the convent complex of El Carmen, built between 1644 and 1655 with a high altar made of pink quarry stone with golden neoclassical decoration.
