Nuevo Leon & Coahuila – Fam Trip
Something that stands out from this fam trip was the kind and warm treatment from our hosts at all times. CODETUR (Corporación para el Desarrollo Turistico de Nuevo León) and SECTUR Coahuila; as well as the Asociación de Tour Operadores de Nuevo León and our friends from the private sector who accompanied us during the trip.
Upon our arrival we went to the picturesque town of Santiago that belongs to the Mexicos’ Pueblos Mágicos Programme, where besides the place itself and its most representative, museums and houses of culture, we visited the “Cola de Caballo Waterfall” a natural area, where you can do various activities such as canopy or horseback riding .
On the way to Coahuila we visited the “Museo del Desierto”, a place you can’t miss on your next visit, it has impressive exhibitions about dinosaurs, as well as other rooms about evolution and biodiversity of great educational and historical value.
Another “Must to” on your next trip is “Cuatro Ciénegas” another gem of the
Mexicos’ Pueblos Mágicos Programme which stands out for its beautiful unique landscapes, and where sensations are connected to the maximum.
And to satisfy the most exquisite taste, Coahuila with its wines and Nuevo Leon with its dishes are a perfect complement.
Several vineyard tours were an important part of our trip: Viñedos Don Leo was undoubtedly one of the most outstanding, as well as “Casa Madero”.
And speaking of flavors another place you have to visit is the “Museo del Dulce” in Monterrey.
Our last stop was to visit some of the most important places in this great city, and the famous “Paseo de Santa Lucia” and “Parque Fundidora”.
These two states, with their Pueblos Mágicos, their gastronomy and their people are a perfect combination for your next visit to Mexico’s Northeast!.
