ATMEX 2023
The 11th edition of the most important Adventure Tourism Event in Mexico and Latin America organized by Adventure Travel Mexico, will take place between October 18 and 20, 2023 in Huatulco, Oaxaca.
Among the objectives of the event are the following:
- Connect with the adventure industry community including buyers, media, destinations, operators, and civil society.
- Discover the wonders of the beautiful destination of Huatulco on adventure days and familiarization trips.
- Learn from industry professionals at conferences and workshops
- Hold business meetings during the Marketplace and other networking spaces.
On this occasion, the event will be divided into 6 points called “The magic of ATMEX”, which are made up as follows:
- Plenary Conferences: Talks organized to meet and learn from the visions, opportunities, as well as trends in the industry through conferences with tourism and adventure experts from Mexico and abroad.
- Marketplace: Spaces to participate in one-on-one business meetings with tourism providers, buyers, and the media, with the aim of generating new business opportunities for the companies or projects of the participants.
- Networking: Virtual and face-to-face spaces created in order to develop new relationships with experts and professionals in adventure and nature tourism and increase the personal and professional contact networks of the participants.
- Workshops: Organized to learn how to develop the professional and personal skills of the participants, through the ATMEX academic program, with courses and workshops given by experts and partner organizations.
- Community: Diversity of spaces on the ATMEX virtual platform to share the experience of the participants with other players in the industry, with the aim of contributing to the growth and recovery of adventure and nature tourism.
- Adventure: Familiarization trips and one-day adventures, organized to get to know the host state, and discover new destinations and experiences with scheduled visits and access to exclusive material from the best adventure and nature destinations in Mexico.
The itinerary of the event is made up as follows:
- From October 14 to 18, 2023: FAM Trips
- October 18, 2023. One Day Adventures and Opening Party
- October 19, 2023. Plenary Conferences, Marketplace and Networking
- October 20, 2023: Plenary Conferences, Marketplace, and Closing Cocktail.
