Rosete Aranda International Puppet Festival

It was created in 1985, under the initiative of preserving and promoting puppet theater. This allows us year after year to enjoy a sample of puppet theater in the state of Tlaxcala, with puppeteers exponents of international level.

Various activities are carried out in this festival such as workshops on dramaturgy, construction and manipulation of puppets, photo contests, and contests for puppeteer merit. International groups from Africa, Germany, Australia, Spain, France, China, Taiwan, among others, participate in the festival.

It is a unique Festival since it brings together puppeteers, researchers and promoters of puppet theater, creators and the general public, around academic activities, exhibitions, conferences and workshops, impacting more than 31,200 spectators thanks to its state and regional coverage.
