Durango

Durango is located in the northwest of the country, bordering Chihuahua, Coahuila, Zacatecas, Nayarit and Sinaloa.

As you enter this beautiful state, you will find several attractions that will tell you the historical facts that have happened here as it is the historic center of exceptional baroque architecture, the temple of Analco, which dates from the time of Porfirio, the main building of the Universidad Juarez del Estado which has been: Jesuit convent, school, seminary, institute and currently Rector of the Universidad Juarez del Estado de Durango. You can also find museums, festivals, dances and traditions.

As far as gastronomy is concerned, the “caldillo durangueño”, the “asadero”, the “carne adobada”, the “chorizo” and the “dulces de almendra” are characteristic dishes of this region.
