About:

Quintana Roo is one of the best-known states in tourism and one of the best positioned nationally. It is located in the southeast of the country and borders Belize and Yucatan and Campeche’s states.

The state has tremendous cultural diversity, mainly the Mayan culture and the traditions derived from its predominate.

Some of its most representative indigenous traditions are the Mayapax, the Day of the Dead known as Hanal Pixán, dances such as the Sambay or the Pascalle Quintanarroense, and its famous Cozumel Carnival.

Given its importance at a national and international level, tourism is one of its main economic activities, mostly because of its beaches. Places like the Rivera Maya, Cancun, Tulum, Playa del Carmen, and more are chosen year after year to enjoy the holidays, especially in the cold season, given the pleasant and warm climate that the region presents.
