San Luis Potosí

San Luis Potosi is located in the north-central region of the country, and borders the states of Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Hidalgo, Querétaro, Guanajuato and Zacatecas.

The state has a great variety of Natural Protected Areas, including the Gogorrón National Park, “El Potosí” National Park, and the protected areas of Flora and Fauna Sierra de Álvarez and La Mojonera.

Another attraction is the Arroyos and Springs of Tanchachín, which in 2008 was declared a Ramsar site.

This state is famous for its adventure activities in the famous Huasteca Potosina and in its magical town Real de Catorce, two national and international destinations.

The Huasteca Potosina covers a significant extension of territory. You will find many tourist destinations and attractions, waterfalls like Tamasopo, and scenic paradises like Xilitla. Simultaneously, in Real de Catorce, it is the mining contrast and the surprises that it holds.
